Fuel consumption measurement is a rigurous process, mainly due to the multitude of perturbing factors around the measurement area. Vibrations, temperature variations, electrical influences are just a few of the details we take into account. The raw results are sent to the server-side application for interpretation, in order to get the maximum of accuracy. Our services cover the engine evaluation, the commissioning of the measurement system, the calibration and testing. Finally, we customise the online application according to requirements and keep the data on our servers throughout the contractual period.

High quality measurements can be performed on vessels, since they run for long periods of time in nearly constant power conditions. In addition, a multitude of parameters can be added to the system, so that the final image is complete. The owner gets a comprehensive view of the ship performance under various conditions. For instance, he learns how positioning in certain areas of current or various rpm's impact the vessels's consumption and thus he is able to make decisions with long term financial impact. These decisions can produce savings of up to tens of thousands of euros for a single vessel during a voyage. Reducing fuel consumption of commercial vehicles is another area of our expertise. The experience and feedback from our clients proved that apparently insignificant savings turned to thousands of euros monthly savings for medium to large sized fleets. Reducing fuel consumption usually starts with stopping fuel theft or fuel tempering and is followed by increasing the driver's efficiency. Defining customised notifications attached to various parameter exceeding automates the monitoring process, so that the manager does not need to study comprehensive amounts of data. In the end, the system as a whole is autonomous, elegant and surprisingly easy to use.

Machinery have generally a high fuel consumption and are mostly used on a hour counting basis. Therefore, when dealing with machinery, we took into account not only high precision fuel consumption measurements, but their precise hour-counters as well. When counting working hours, by using consumption data and/or several other factors, we were able to extract idling and actual working times as well as machinery various components working times. This approach proved most efficient in determining efficiency, renting costs and whether or not they are appropriate for a certain project. Our services cover specific consultancy over the type of measurement system to be used and the proper use of all available parameters so that the final information does not state only "where" a machinery can be found, but also "what exactly is it doing" at a certain moment.
