Another Deutz engine, running on a Vogele-S2000 series machinery, an asphalt paver. Unlike the previous case, the consumption is small compared to the flow in the supply system, imposing the use of direct fuel consumption measurement. An intermediary fuel tank was added to the system. The supply-return piping was attached to the new tank and the fuel transfer between the old  (storage) and new tank (service) is being monitored by a flowmeter. The measurement precision is therefore unaffected, and it uses a minimal mathematical interpretation of the measuring results.
