An additional measurement system for the same river ship. It is installed in a different area, measuring the transfer between the storage and main engine service tanks on one side and the return of fuel from injectors on the other. Thus, we get the consumption figure using an independent and very precise method, but more likely to be tempered with. The vessel is equipped with two independent fuel measuring systems, running in parallel. The results are compared permanently, any difference exceeding a certain threshold being notified, so that tempering with the system is ruled out. In the end, the declared consumption decreased by 50%.
